Marilyn K22. A découvrir !!!! Merci Lucas leboral15. Février, 2025. Excellent visit The museum is small and located in an old trading house. The museum part is small but very well made and complete. The shop contains many interesting products at decent prices. The tasting is well done. I would have liked an extra paid tasting but we can't have everything. For a low price, an excellent visit with young and friendly staff. maddy f10. Février, 2025. A must do 10/10 What an amazing experience and such good value for money. The staff were so helpful and happy to answer all the questions. English was amazing. For €10 you get wine tasting with a lesson about the vinyards and include chocolate rasins, cake, and two glasses of wine. You also get a guided tour around the museum. Learnt so much and definitely a must if only visiting for a short period of time. Faith A2. Février, 2025. Small museum but nice wine tasting The museum itself was quite small, but you can get a booklet of info and/or an audio guide. They spoke English and the wine tasting part was nice. A nice female employee gave a small presentation about the different regions of Bordeaux and what wine is produced where, then we were able to sample two wines. The student price was 5 euros, which was fine with me. bac2625. Janvier, 2025. Save your money and take tour by looking at pictures online. The wine cave was authentic and interesting, but I wouldn't waste my time looking at very old wine bottles and other things that are so full of dust you cannot appreciate them. There was a wine tasting at the end, but it was the worse presentation and wine that I tasted in France.Save your money and skip this one! I didn't have a reservation and walked right through. At the end, there was an informative presentation of the wine map of Bordeaux. I tasted two types of wine. I enjoyed it a lot. Acuarela d27. Décembre, 2024. For wine and culture lovers Strolling through Chartroms we were surprised by the place. We entered out of curiosity. It's small but charming. In a short time it allowed us to know the history of how Bordeaux became a world capital of wine and know the commercial tradition of wine on site. In the end a tasting with a very jovial girl was the icing. GrandTour6425517132212. Décembre, 2024. Title of opinion: A rewarding and friendly visit I visited the Bordeaux Wine and Trade Museum with friends, and it was a really pleasant experience! The place is steeped in history and highlights the importance of wine in Bordeaux’s culture and economy. The presentations were very well made, with clear explanations and interesting anecdotes. The staff was welcoming and passionate, which made the visit even more enjoyable. Even without being a wine lover, I enjoyed discovering the production methods, the trades and all the heritage around this fascinating universe. An activity that I recommend to all those who want to know more about the history of Bordeaux! Steve E12. Décembre, 2024. You can’t judge a book by its’ cover! We moved to Bordeaux 4 months ago and live 200 meters from this museum. We’ve walked by it dozens of times and thought the entrance was so unappealing that it wouldn’t be worth going in. We were wrong! This museum is a simple, straightforward and realistic representation of the history of Bordeaux and how intertwined wine is with the history of the city. We spent about an hour walking through the museum part of the experience, and about an hour for the wine tasting. I lived in San Francisco for 5 years and spent half my weekends in Napa Valley and Sonoma. I’ve seen my fair share of wineries and done too many wine tastings. This place is really different. Every step of the museum is well documented and contains an extraordinary amount of detail and artifacts that bring the history to life. The wine tasting wasn’t hurried at all. The young man that conducted our tasting (Edward) did an outstanding job of explaining the various differences of the wine producing regions around Bordeaux, and took as many questions as we offered. We are learning French, but he was perfectly capable of doing the tasting in English. We would definitely recommend this museum! Climber3552655990411. Décembre, 2024. Very interesting and pleasant experience I was pleasantly surprised by the welcome of the wine and trading museum,Being very little acquainted with this field I was able to learn more about the city in which I grew up.The tasting was full of surprises and well animated by Mr Pablo who mastered his domain.I highly recommend, activity to do alone, with friends, family or even on a date. One word to define this experience: incredible
